Texas Humane Heroes is a private, non-profit animal welfare organization operating two No Kill Adoption Centers in the greater Austin metropolitan and Killeen/Ft. Hood areas. We are 100% funded by donations, grants and modest service fees, and receive no government funding. Texas Humane Heroes is focused on high-volume adoptions at our two No Kill adoption centers, saving the lives of animals at risk of space-related killing at municipal shelters.

Texas Humane Heroes offers weekly low-cost spay/neuter appointments and monthly low-cost vaccination clinics to the public.
