Purebred Rescue Organization of Ohio, Inc. "PRO" is a federal non-profit organization charitable organization 501(c)(3). Our organization rescues dogs from owners who can no longer keep their pet, as well as local animal shelters. Our program provides basic manners training and socialization through the cell dog program. Our rescue program utilizes the inmates or "dog handlers" through the state prison institutions. We are 100% volunteer based charity. All proceeds go to the rescue. We do not have a facility and do not board our dogs for extended periods of time. We believe in feeding our dogs quality food. Our dogs live with their handlers or are in an approved foster home. All dogs are vaccinated and altered prior to adoption. We choose their forever homes based on the best fit for the dog.
