Pets In Need is the first No Kill rescue adoption shelter serving Northern California. Each week we visit public facilities to rescue dogs, cats, puppies and kittens who are scheduled to be killed. We bring these animals back to our shelter where we give them the gift of time...time to be treated for any medical conditions, time to learn to trust humans again, time to become old enough to be spayed or neutered, and time for that just-right person or family to walk though our doors and adopt them. Pets In Need has been saving the lives of animals for over 51 years.

Pets In Need is funded solely through the generosity of our donors and receives no county, state or federal funding. Pets In Need is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
