As the original and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas, Operation Kindness is the place Where Happiness Begins. In 40 years we have saved more than 85,000 cats and dogs. We care for approximately 300 cats and dogs on a day-to-day basis, with another 150 in foster homes. In the past 12 months over 4,500 homeless cats and dogs received medical care, clean shelter, nutritious food and playtime in a natural setting until they were adopted into new forever homes.

The mission of Operation Kindness is to provide quality care for homeless or unwanted cats and dogs in a compassionate, no-kill environment until they are adopted into responsible, loving homes, and to be a leader in our community in promoting humane values through education and awareness.
