The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Suncoast, formerly known as the SPCA of West Pasco, has been saving lives and finding homes since 1964 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Currently, we are saving the lives of hundreds of adoptable pets every year. The SPCA temporarily provides a home for cats and dogs who are owner surrendered for a variety of reasons and those who run out of time at other shelters. Our dedicated staff provides them attention, health care, food, a clean place to sleep, and love while they live at the shelter.

Mission Statement:
The SPCA Suncoast’s mission is to save, protect and improve the lives of our community’s animals by advocating for their welfare, educating the public, enhancing the human-animal bond and providing compassionate care for homeless pet animals waiting for adoption.
