PAWS of Coronado was founded in 2003 by Louise Shirey and a group of dedicated volunteers as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt animal welfare organization.

Our Mission:
Provide adoption services to the animals in the Coronado Animal Care Facility.
Provide educational services to the community regarding animal welfare, care and adoption.
Encourage and facilitate the spaying and neutering of all family pets.

PAWS’ vision is a world where every lost, stray and abandoned animal is able to find its forever home. PAWS’ belief is while saving the life of one animal may not change the world, for that one animal saved, its world will change forever.
