Animal Outreach of the Mother Lode is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization that relies on community support to provide our rescue, shelter, spay, neuter and vaccination services. Reducing the number of companion animals killed in California shelters by providing low cost spay/neuter, vaccinations and taking-in cats and dogs from high-kill or over-burdened municipal shelters and finding them suitable homes.

We are in our 21st year in the community saving the lives of animals. In 2012, Animal Outreach reduced the number of unwanted pets in overburdened or high-kill animal shelters by adopting over 3000 pets into new homes and providing low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services to over 10,000 cats and dogs.
